Robin Hood (BBC) S3 Eps 3&4
Baby Geniuses -- I picked it up for a dollar and got ripped off. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the recommended viewing age is probably around 8. Saw the sequel at Big Lots some time back and thought the concept sounded interesting, but knew it would probably be a children's film. I was not wrong.

A Nightmare on Elm St. Part 2: Freddy's Revenge - An after-school special on homosexuality, also featuring Freddy Krueger.

A Nightmare on Elm St. Part 3: Dream Warriors - Best sequel of the series, lots of great effects work here.

A Nightmare on Elm St. Part 4: The Dream Master - Last solid flick in the series, it's a great mixture of gore and gags.

The Messenger - Very good movie. The romance subplot grinds things to a halt, but the performance by Harrellson is outstanding.

Brick - Not sure how I felt about this one. It's like a teenage play of a film noir on screen. I couldn't believe kids would act/talk like this. Cool that it was shot nearby, though.

Seems like you've been watching LOTR for the last several days Trevor. My wife & I just watched it a few months ago, so it'll be awhile before we watch it again. I like the extended length DVDs (vs. the theatrical versions) but my god are they long...-popcorn- -kd5-

That was the mini-series with Peter Krause, right? I really enjoyed it.

Yep, as part of DVDTalk's May Challenge, the Make-Your-Own-Challenge, I vowed to watch every second of content from all the LOTR releases. If you thought the films were long, try watching all the content.

Re: Last DVD you watched?

A Nightmare on Elm St. 5: The Dream Child - The series takes a swan dive which it never recovers from. Some decent stuff here towards the end, but the crap story and terrible characters make it a bit of a chore to get to.

Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare - Fuck you, Rachel Talalay. At least it's got Alice Cooper in a cameo. The writing is beyond atrocious. Freddy is officially a fucking joke in this movie.
