Re: Last DVD you watched?
For the Historical Appreciation Challenge, I just watched The Last Days of Frank and Jesse James, a TV movie from 1986 starring Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson, respectively. It's pretty simplistic as far as biopics go (being an 80s TV movie I didn't expect much in the way of sophistication), but the appeal for me was as a fan of Cash's and Kris's. It's fun watching them share the screen, knowing how close they were in real life and seeing that come through on screen. Bizarre seeing June Carter Cash play their mom, though!
The DVD doesn't have any bonus content. For that matter, it doesn't even have any language options--not even subtitles! |
