Excellent fim. Sean Penn flexes his directorial muscles.
New Echo Bridge version is anamorphic but does not have commentary.
Older Miramax version is non-anamorphic but contains commentary.

Watching The Shining: Two-Disc SE (1997 Miniseries) today. Started it while we ate dinner (nothing else on TV), getting ready to finish it up this evening. They were just getting ready to settle in when we stopped it earlier. -kd5-

Damn, didn't realize that thing was 273 min. long...:eek: Finally finished it, not bad, a little long but not bad. And of course Stephen King had to get his cameo in there. Supposedly this is the version he endorsed. -kd5-
