Re: Last DVD you watched?
The Dukes Of Hazzard: The Complete Third Season Episodes "Uncle Boss", then "Carnival of Thrills" 2-parter which were all really season 2 episodes, then "Enos Strate to the Top" that launched the Enos spin-off show.
I also checked out some extras and music videos on "For Your Eyes Only" and "The World Is Not Enough". I had forgotten about the band "Garbage" singing the title song. Awesome song! Plus all of the extras for Red Cliff I & II which really sucked as extras. I mean all it showed was what hell it was to make the movie with one disaster after another. Only the negative was shown or talked about. Like it was a nightmare to make. Very poor extras. They didn't even do any material with the actual actors. No interviews, no nothing. Only one extra even spoke about a few of them. The only good extra was a very short one about the dove flying scene being the most expensive CGI shot ever filmed! I am sure better extras are on the Asian release like interviews, the premiere event, ect,. |

James Bond 007: For Your Eyes Only: Special Edition James Bond 007: The World Is Not Enough: Special Edition I also tested both of my new Doris Day films that I just picked up at Wal-mart site-to-store last night. Both were in Eco-box cases. :( I watched The Dot And The Line: A Romance In Lower Mathematics that was included on "The Glass Bottom Boat" DVD. Watched trailers on both of those DVDs as well. I've never seen "The Glass Bottom Boat" before. Can't wait! "Please Don't Eat The Daisies" only has a trailer for extras. Nothing else.. |

The Savages, first time viewing. Weaker than I'd hoped/expected, but Laura Linney and Philip Seymour Hoffman were still great in it. The DVD looked gorgeous, too. The texture of her shirts and the landscaping in Arizona really popped. Bonus content was Spartan, though I did appreciate some of the anecdotes about little touches that went into the script.
