Just finished Finding Forrester, a first time viewing. It's a combination of old story ideas (the reclusive mentor paired with the youthful phenom) and doesn't really add anything to any of them. Still, Rob Brown more than held his own and Sean Connery is the kind of actor who elevates anything he does. Without those two, this might have gone into my "Mediocre" pile, but they bring it easily into "Average" and I'm tempted to say "Impressive."

Watched nearly an hour of Snow Queen (2002) while we ate dinner, plan to finish it up this evening. 3 hours of storybook fantasy for $2 from BigLots (about a year ago). Not the greatest, but not bad...;) -kd5-

Home Alone 1, 2, 3 & 4. Even though I've always hated the last 2 (parts 3&4), I felt I had to own and watch them this time of the year. The completest side of me I guess?
