Inception - Had this DVD for quite sometime but just got around to watching it. I think I'm pretty good at figuring out and following films but I have to admit I'm not really sure what the f*ck I just witnessed for the last 2 and a half hours!!! I think I have to watch this film another 5 or 6 times just to begin to figure out what the hell was going on! Was the whole freakin thing one bad dream or what? Lost Highway made more sense to me than this film did!-screwy-

I liked that movie. Went to see it during its theatrical run with a friend of mine one afternoon 'cause we had nothing better to do. I've been thinking I might revisit it during next month's Historical Appreciation Challenge.

As for me, we've been making our way through Batman Beyond - Season One. Finished Disc 1 last night, including the only two commentary tracks on the set.

I hate that they broke up the premiere episode into two individual episodes for this release. I much preferred the original one-hour cut for broadcast that Warner used for the original DVD release (titled Batman Beyond: The Movie). I wish they'd at least had a commentary for both parts of the opener, but for some reason they only included it for the first half. And who thought a 22 minute episode would benefit from five different commentators?

Still, it's a show I initially resisted and have only recently come around on, and I'm starting to dig it.

For the most part, I find these films at my local Blockbuster. I buy them used 4 for $20. Usually they are in great shape because hardly anyone rents them (who wants to read stupid subtitles anyway).

Thanks for the info. Don't have many local BB around here but again thanks for the quick reviews and keep them coming! I just pick up used titles on Amazon Marketplace of the films you reccomend for a few bucks also, again probably because not a huge interest in them but I'm sure satisfied with the ones I've gotten and seen so far!:D

The man who was Sherlock Holmes -- 6.5/10
Twilight: Eclipse - 5.5 - they really are milking this franchise with mediocre crap
Dark City - 6/10 -- I think this will be better on future viewings. (Plus I was half asleep!)
Blue Smoke - Nora Roberts TV movie 5.5/10
The Trial - Matthew Modine -- 5.5/10 -- about as good as a decent procedural
