Just finished Darby O'Gill and the Little People. I bet it's been a good 20 years since I last saw it. The DVD has three bonus features and I enjoyed two of them quite a lot; one is a small piece on Sean Connery (they managed to get him to actually film some remarks about the movie and its production; good stuff) and one of the better featurettes I've seen yet about special effects. The third bonus feature is an episode of Disneyland, "I Captured the King of the Leprechauns," in which Walt Disney allegedly gets the inspiration from Pat O'Brien to go to Ireland and snag a real Leprechaun for the film and along the way he decides to film Darby's story. The problem I have with the piece is that it includes all of the key sequences of the film--including the ending--in what amounts to a bastardized abridgment rather than a teaser. Still, I suppose it's interesting on some historical level.

Mad Max SE - Watched this with the Austalian sound track/Voices for the first time. Enjoyed it but like some of the British films I've seen occasionally you find yourself saying , what did they say?:)

Garth Brooks Live in Central Park - I'm not really a big fan of country music but this guy is a great entertainer! The $5.00 I paid for this tin @ WM a while back was WELL worth it with several concerts and a disc of videos!:)

The VHS release is far better. The DVD release is really butchered and lacks the warmth found in the entire performance. I say this as a longtime Garth fan, of course; YMMV.

Average PQ, with good sound and song selection. Really good almost 3 hour total concert from these bad boys.
P.S....My 4 year old came home and said "daddy thats too loud"!:)

As I said I'm not a major Country music fan But the shows I've watched of Garth's on this set were VERY enjoyable to me and for the $5.00 I spent on it, I feel I more than got my moneys worth, but thanks for the feedback:)

Finished the Pacific -- 7.5/10 -- I think I will enjoy this more on repeat viewings.
Karate Kid (2010) - 7.5/10 -- about what I expected, but still enjoyed it
Inception 7.5/10 -- the ending was way too predictable for me, would have scored higher if better ending
Evening 8/10 - forgot I've seen this before, but was well-done.
