Does anyone have any information about the rumored dvd/bluray release of Abel Gance's Napoleon? I thought BFI might release it this fall but have not been able to get any more information.

Looking forward to it. I was a kid when Francis Ford Coppola toured with it, so I read all about it at the time but was too young to go. Had it on VHS for a while. I love the way silents look in HD.

Get all of your cinema friends to go. I saw it in Oakland in 2012. The experience is magical. While I am anxiously awaiting the BFI treatment, no matter how great it is, it will pale to the experience in the theater. Enjoy!
