For Writers consider (not sure who has been used when):
Eduardo Sanchez (Blair Witch 1-2, Lovely Molly, 7th Moon, Exists) - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0844896/
Simon Barrett (You're Next, Dead Birds, Red Sands, Frankenfish, etc) = http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1440023/
David Cronenberg (33 writing credits per IMDB) -http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000343/
Clive Barker - (31 writing credits) - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000850/
I second removing 'From a Face Off Judge,' the reference seems too dated/obscure now.

I think it's a unique checklist item with plenty of choices. And how is it dated? We're in a new season for the show, not to mention it won the 2015 critic's choice award for best reality competition show. I enjoy watching it. My wife does SFX horror/fantasy makeup, so my opinion may be biased.

I was kinda hoping that it was still a Something Weird Video check since I've yet to own a movie by Arrow (I've got The Beast and Spider Baby--But different companies)

EDIT: Doesn't matter. Chad fixed it already.
Same here. I guess any version counts though. Maybe?

I've watched about 2/3 of the subset picks during previous OHMCs, and I'm not planning on doing many re-watches this year, so I'm not participating in the subsets. However, that's a film I haven't seen that I've heard enough about to be interested in, so I'll try to watch it this year (thanks for mentioning it).

Not necessarily in need of an immediate change but this checklist item always seemed weird because anyone watching 100 movies per month would seem to automatically cover some DVDs, some streaming, and some blu-rays. Maybe since we have expanding so much of the overall list that segment should be deleted or condensed down to something like "Watch a film on VHS, laser disc, or beta [optional]" and/or "watch any film in a movie theater" (or to be more general, someplace other than a home).
But I remember once trying to hit 30 different formats/channels in the month.

List is updated. This year I'm only combining names that don't have enough in their filmography for a single entry, which probably makes more sense.
And need more feedback on the fate of the Face Off entry and the new Avengers idea.
That was it.
Yes, as long as it's on the list it doesn't matter what company.

Like Avengers and Face/Off is big on the convention circuit. Might as well leave it in as a way to get more introduced to makeup and that side of things.

I live in a tiny town in eastern NC and Face Off is actually pretty popular. You wouldn't know that unless you visited the Halloween store, but I guess that only makes sense.
It is a technical show, so I can see people not getting into it. But some of us grew up reading Tom Savini school adds in Fangoria, and it's cool to see what can be done in a 1 or 2 day time limit. Again, the checklist item provides lots of viewing choices, so I don't see any reason to drop it. I'm surprised we haven't used it yet to be honest.

While I don't plan to do the checklist, I enjoy Face Off myself.

I usually wait until near the end of the month and go through the checklist to see if I'm close to completing it with whatever I've watched so far. If it looks like it won't take much effort to complete it, I will.
I've never seen Face Off, and don't care if it stays on the list or not.

This is in no way an endorsement for any film by Andy Milligan, but if he is chosen, his film Guru, the Mad Monk (1970) is available on YouTube (along with a few more of his movies) or as a free download from Vinegar Syndrome.
