Star Wars Extras

So I purchased the hi-def set but I could swear the Star Wars including prequels DVDs from years past had a lot better extras and makings of?

I cannot verify because I do not own the DVDs anymore but wondering if someone else could fill me in

Re: Star Wars Extras

There isn't a lot of crossover between the features on the Star Wars DVDs and blu-rays. The DVDs, particularly the prequel DVDs, have a lot of stuff that isn't on the blu-rays, and the features on the blu-rays are mostly unique to the blu-ray sets.

I can't rattle off everything, but I do know that the deleted scenes that appeared on the prequel DVDs are not included on the blu-rays, which have their own deleted scenes unique to that set.

Hmm, I did not know that--I've held off on the Star Wars Blus, just couldn't stomach the idea of even more changes to the films.

The mega-documentary Empire of Dreams is only on DVD but I sometimes see that bonus disc by itself at the used shops.
