I shall come and go as I can...
The last few challenge has been a bust for me so we'll see how long I can keep up.

Me: I have to get up and go watch something Peanuts-related.
Her: What? Why?
Me: Charles Schultz died on this day 14 years ago and it's almost midnight.
Her: Huh?

I just couldn't do it. Then I took the next day off as well.

I totally hear ya on this one. And that's one of the reasons I decided to let go of the challenges for the most part. I was beating myself up sometimes when I couldn't keep up, even in the slightest bit.

What is the ruling on watching something a day late? I watched Nightmare On Elm Street 3 on Feb 28, when the Feb 27 was the 27th Anniversary of it's theatrical release.

Is there a couple day's leeway or do we forfeit that entry if we can't get to it on the exact day?

I feel that sometimes too. This Challenge is almost the easiest, in that one could argue that even a YouTube scene from a movie or trailer of any actor on their birthday would count.

Not really my call, but I'd say try to fudge it. Did it premiere in any country on the 28th? Did anyone on the cast or crew have a birthday or death on the 28th?

I'm still OCDing something everyday; usually a birthday sitcom or shortish show, but occasionally something like a D-day film or comic films on Free Comic Book Day.

A couple times I've almost forgotten and watched something at ~1130 PM. At this point I'll be pissed at myself if I miss a day, but if I do at least I'll be able to quit this nonsense.

So deciding on doing this Challenge was my worst idea ever. I did it, 365 for 365; but the slight satisfaction in the 'accomplishment' does not compensate for crazy daily OCD chore it became. Never again.

Congrats on doing it. You're a better man than I am Gunga Din.

Congrats Trevor! I thought you were crazy to do this and it's now confirmed!

Did you at least watch your wedding video on 11/11? It just occurred to me that I totally forgot to throw out *congrats* that day!

Thanks everyone, but I would have preferred you forcibly stopped me last January.

And I tried to Bob, and thanks, but I didn't find the DVD until later in the month. But hopefully it's still within sight for the next time Jen wants to watch it.

I think I got in like three or four daily-themed viewings over the whole year.

I'm pondering a challenge of my own, but can't narrow down what I want to do, or get the motivation to actually start it.

I think the bigger question is, how easy of a habit was it to quit? Are you pretty much over and done w/ it, or do you still get that nagging feeling there is something you're supposed to do today?
