For all we know that photo could have been taken years ago.

The Walmart version is edited. In the scene where Tim Robbins gets his face smashed in by an air conditioning unit, he doesn't have a pony tail.

You should have taken the picture with the DVD holding today's newspaper so we would believe it

I love this thread, though do feel kind of bad for vdc at this point.

I would too but he just kept trying to get us to buy instead of learning.

Kind of like what I saw yesterday. We had some guy come in because he got a ticket for parking in a disabled spot. He thought he thought the ticket wasn't legitimate because he would have been late to work if he didn't park there, there were other open disabled parking spaces, and he was trying to add in something about it's confusing because it was at night so he thought it was open to everyone. Kind of like how you have 2 hour parking signs that say "From 7am to 7pm".

What was missing was any acknowledgment that he did anything wrong and that he wasn't going to do it again. If you get a ticket for $450, you're going to get more points on your side if you show you now know what you did was wrong and have learned from it. Also, dress nice and not wear jeans with holes in them.

In conclusion, this is why I didn't buy High Fidelity.

You almost had me fooled until I saw the image was broken. Plus it's not like someone couldn't take one from their own collection and put it in there. From what I've heard, this movie is rare and expensive.

I fully expect your DVD Investment infomercial to appear on reputable TV networks at 5:30am.

Anyone picture this guy like one of those schmucks in Pawn Stars who thinks their common antique is worth a bundle just because it's 50 years old, even though there was a million of them and is in fact worthless?

This thread is classic.

I sold mine for 1.6 million and use the profit to invest in a new video format called "Gold Ray" that only I will have access to.

The limb transplant operation was a success. What have I missed between reading the 1st post of this thread and up until now.
