OOP Trafic Criterion Collection - Heads Up
Trafic Criterion Collection
I spoke to Criterion in early January and they told me that the last of the copies of Trafic they had produced was shipped to Amazon under strict conditions that only a maximum of 10 can be sold per household. Amazon had over 150+ available back then and they were selling them for 19.99. I checked today and those are all gone. Expect this to reach the $70+ range sealed due to the fact there is no decent release of this Tati classic aside from this exceptional 2-Disc from Criterion.
Spine #439..pretty crazy it went out of print so quickly

Still some sellers left with low prices...I say grab what you can for keeping or future resale. I got my 10 back in January and will probably throw 9 of em up on eBay in March. Figured I let the DVDtalk community know

Re: OOP Trafic Criterion Collection - Heads Up
Honestly, I thought it had to. But I looked all over and there isn't any news of one. Definitely not from Criterion because if I'm not mistaken they lost the rights to this. And no announcements from other companies that I can find, even outside of Region A. I wasn't even able to find another DVD release of this let alone Blu-ray.
Maybe someone else knows?

This was actually announced as out of print a year ago with a bunch of other studio canal titles. Amazon just got some left overs of the studio canal OOP titles. There were whole bunch of them like Forbidden Games and Variety Lights.
