Was there a full frame version of this box set?

Going by DVDAficionado, the only full-frame release of an Apes movie was the two disc special edition of the 1968 original (available in widescreen and pan and scan). Every other release has been widescreen, but also keep in mind that box you posted is non-anamorphic widescreen. You'd need the Legacy box to get 16x9.

Bingo. I've owned both, and the one in the first post is non-anamorphic.

Thank goodness!

I ordered a 'like new' set from Amazon Marketplace for $8.00 shipped. I didn't notice until afterward that Amazon listed the aspect ratio at 1.33:1.

Glad that was a mistake.

Thanks!
