Why are the Clone Wars (2003) volumes so expensive?!
Ahoy,
There was an awesome, short series called Star Wars: Clone Wars, that was made in 2003. I have the first DVD.
Anyway, to buy them on Amazon.com, it costs $35 for Volume One, and $52 for Volume 2. Keep in mind that Vol.1 is a single disc, and only 69 minutes long. Vol.2 is 64 minutes long!
The only thing I can think of is that they must have been discontinued. That's terrible! It's being completely overshadowed by the new 3D Clone Wars.

The expensive one on Amazon's listings are from third party sellers, namely DIRECT Liquidations for Volume 2. I'd second the recommendation to buy used.
