At this point in time, I think the only chances of getting it is if Paramount does it as an MOD or licenses it out to someone like Lion's Gate.

^ Sadly, I think a MOD will be the case, which I will refuse to buy. This will reinforce it as a lost classic in my (childhood) memory, preventing me from ever actually watching it again and being disappointed.
