What country produced this series? None of the links indicate its national origin.
Also, is there an older animated TinTin series? Say, from France? I'd like to see this series in classic animation.

Here's a listing of other appearances of TinTin. It's from imdb, so it's gotta be right.

Don't know about DVD availability; I'm too

Thanks for that, Digidoh. The IMDB page for the series indicates that it's a France/Canada co-production. Every title before the 1991 series that inspired this thread seems to be a one-shot movie, whether made for TV or theaters. The credit of Dal McKennon as the English voice actor on five of them (1959-64), all Belgian productions, indicates these films got dubbed into English. Did they ever get released in the U.S.? I never heard of them playing anywhere in the U.S. or being shown on TV in the 50-odd years I've been monitoring such activity. I'd love to see the older ones. I already have one Asterix movie on VHS.
