All 13 episodes of the series will be released on DVD November 15, 2011. Included in the set will be the two original claymation specials Meet the Raisins! and Raisins: Sold Out!: The California Raisins II along with 4 original TV ads.

It was a cell animated cartoon in the late 80's. 'Nuff said.
Regardless I will still get it because I love Meet the Raisins! and the 2nd special wasn't too bad either.
This collection would be pretty much perfect if they had just included some sort of history featurette and maybe just threw their song clip from the Claymation Christmas Celebration on it. I have that special on DVD too and love it, but it would have been nice.
Regardless I am happy beyond any rational reason.

The second disc featuring the 13 California Raisins show episodes sounds awful on surround sound. Basically, the speaking voices only come out of one speaker, so they get drowned out by the background music. I got it mainly for the claymation specials, but it would have been nice to be able to enjoy the cartoon show as well.
