Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

someone on blu-ray.com found out that if you go to transformersmovie.com. On your phone etc, it confirms it is coming out on 9/30. Which we all know, but i think its paramounts way of announcing it
(for some reason it will not let me post a link)

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

I will say this. dont be suprised if one of these titles gets moved

as of right now 10/11 looks like this

- Beautiful Boy
- The Green Lantern
- Horrible Bosses
- Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer
- Kung Fu Panda 2
- The Tree of Life
- The ZooKeeper

out of all of them, The Tree of Life is the only one, not even remotely Talked about yet. but I dont see it moving, considering it was the first to land of that date, then Panda 2. then the rest followed.

If Bosses did Indeed offically move to October. that means that Besides Larry Crowne on 11/8 and the Rumored Harry Potter 7B on that Friday. there is a good chance. something else moved to that date unoffically that spooked Warner Bros into moving it off that date. Maybe The Change Up, or Poppers Penguins.

Hold on. So you are saying 11/11 for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is still a rumored date? I know people would disagree with me here, but I hope it moves into December. And if you think about it, Part 1 came out 5 months after theatrical release. So 5 months from July 15, puts Part 2 out in December. Also, don't forget Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince came out in July and was released on DVD on December 8th of that year.

And does anyone remember how Harry Potter 7A was rumored to come out on March 8th, then 15th, then 29th. And then finally it was announced for April 15th.

I have a feeling that November 11th will not be the official date. It will probably movie into December. Again that is just my thought.

Has anyone heard any info about when or if A Separation (Jodaeiye Nader az Simin) will see a R1 release? I know it's probably a bit premature as I'm not even sure it has seen a North American theatre, but it's currently standing in the way (along with Harry Potter 7B) of my collecting of IMDB's top 250.

Green Lantern is indeed October 14th. What Mvieguy means is that it is coming out the week of October 11th.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

Okay I just checked out Videoeta.com and they still haven't moved Super 8 into November. Are you guys sure that it is coming out November 22nd?

Maybe they will stick with October 18th. Why is this taking so long to be announced? Why is this such a mystery?

Also according to some people at blu-ray.com, their local FYE stores are taking pre orders for Super 8 for September 20th. lol

What is going on?
