I got to see a screener copy of Fassbinder's 3+ hour sci-fi excursion, World on a Wire recently. It will show in HD in my area (Miami Beach) starting at the end of the week. I got it from the hands of someone working in Criterion who just happened to be visiting the theater as I previewed some other movies for review, so this will see a Criterion release, for sure (though nothing is official yet).

nice. I've been trying to work my way through Fassbinders entire filmography for some time now, its quite a task. Haven't seen this yet.

I have the UK edition, but will have to pick this up at the next 50% off sale. Scheduled for Feb 2012 release.
