Just my own quirk, but I'm much more inclined to answer a question if I don't need to click through just to figure out what is being asked

Sorry, nothing personal. It's just something that comes up at work a lot, people asking, "Hey, can you tell me what's wrong with (this)?" and I say, "Dude, I might be able to answer your question at a glance if I know what you're talking about. Why do you force me to click through and spend extra time? Are you just trying to be clever and showing me you know how to code an html link in e-mail?"
Anyway, I can't answer the question because I've never bought from Time Life so I guess I just wasted your time the way I complain about others wasting mine. Sorry about that.

I've bought from Time Life once. I had to deal with customer service and while it was sort of a pain, the item arrived in good condition.
I would personally buy the 25th anniversary rock and roll hall of fame concert from somewhere else.

I bought the first season of Get Smart from their web site a few years ago. Didn't have any problems.

I purchased both Best of the Muppets collections from Time Life and did not have any problems.
I don't know if they still sell sets where you get 1 disc a month for $x, but online they usually offer the whole run at once, which is what I did. It's probably worthwhile to wait for a sale or search out a coupon code.

I finagled my Folks to purchase their Man From U.N.C.L.E. & The Six Million Dollar Man sets from them to give me as Xmas Presants.
Have had no trouble with them as well.

Yes, I've gotten Hee Haw, Smothers Bros, and Dean Martin sets from them, no problems.
Even though the "name" has been around quite a while, it hasn't been exactly the "same" company all these years.

Re: Has anyone ever bought from Time Life?
I saw a commercial on the TV for this set and it looks really great, but I've never bought from time life before and I'm kind of suspicious since they generally sell their products through infomercials. Can anyone... rep for them I guess? Thanks!
This has been available from Best Buy as an exclusive since last fall, I think it has been generally released at places like Amazon, etc. since.

They're not bad but when you shop with them, use it to your advantage to find coupon codes to knock the price down as their stuff is known for being a bit too pricey...every little bit helps. Ordered Malt Shop Memories CD set for my brother and no problem with their service. Just disappointed about the Dean Martin Variety Show sets they recently released, being heavily edited and such.

Re: Has anyone ever bought from Time Life?
I've done a subscription purchase of 3 different CD collections (all now OOP) and had no issues at all. They were a bit pricey, but also were a good value based on the minimal repeats I had with the sets plus the amount of selections per disk. Overall it was roughly the same price I'd have paid for less comprehensive collections covering the same eras with fewer songs.
I also got tired of waiting for Get Smart to go to "regular" retail and caved on the complete series set about 6 months before it actually made its way to retail. Compared to the retail prices at release and after about 6 months in I *way* overpaid even though I used a coupon. I don't regret the purchase but had I known the retail was so close I'd have waited because of their higher prices. While I purchased S1 of Man from U.N.C.L.E. I waited for the full set to go regular retail because of the much higher prices from TL.
I feel they are very reliable and have had nothing but good experiences with the few times I used CS (with those CDs - I got a couple of defectives and one I just couldn't tolerate. No hassle on exchanges/replacements/returns). However, based on their inflated prices I'd only use them again for a product I feel would not make it to regular retail.
