Transformers boxset re-release?

http://www.amazon.com/Transformers-C...8244106&sr=1-1

Amazon shows that as a Region 1 release US. Vivendi Entertainment?

Any idea why? The price is cheaper too than the Shout! boxset.

Are there any special features? Anything fixed or different?

If this topic is a repost, Mod please delete I couldn't find anything.

Re: Transformers boxset re-release?

This is a re-release of the animated series to coincide with the 3rd Michael Bay film.

The set is effectively a replacement for the Shout! box set except it does not include the 16th disc which was all bonus material. Hence the lower price.

I see. So nothing is changed except the artwork. Basically they just redistributing. Pretty freakin cool because I'm missing the last boxset of the Rhino collection and I never bought the Shout! set.

$60 is very decent for the entire collection.

The artwork and the lack of the 16th disc of bonus material, yes.
