Re: Is DVD better than Blu Ray? If so, why?

After having bought a cheap RCA projector I was surprised to see just how good DVDs look being projected. The up-converted DVDs on my HDTV have jaggies, crush and mosquito noise but on the projector the image is solid and clean.

The projector is only 800 X 480 resolution but it looks very film-like. It projects an 82" image and it is not as sharp and doesn't have the eye-popping colors of HD but it's given my DVD collection a definite up-tick in quality and overall enjoyment.
