DVDTalk collectors series marked titles are good to look at.

(sigh) I know...! It's weird; I haven't seen Citizen Kane or The Good, the Bad and the Ugly but I have seen The King of Kong and The Ramen Girl (loved both of them, incidentally). Any progress I make on seeing "the essentials" is almost incidental at this point in my life. I see what I see, when I see it, and try to evaluate it for what it is to me at the time, then I move on. It's certainly a conversational handicap, but I just don't feel drawn to the must-sees the way I once thought I should have.
