Re: The Office Season Six: Scene Missing
Not only is this scene missing on the blu, but the some scenes with Erin and Michael in the car appear to be showing as if they were 4x3 in a letterbox.

The scene in question was removed at the creators request. It aired once, they didn't like it, so it was cut. The version that was released on DVD is the version that is intended to be seen. I respect their decision.

I doubt that the brief use of other copyrighted character images would be a problem. These should fall under a "fair use" clause.
There are other possibilities for the complete Halloween episode. Does anybody know if a foreign release is intact?

Re: The Office Season Six: Scene Missing
I am still pretty steamed about this omission. That cold open was one of my favorites from S6. I also would like to see a citation provided that confirms that this omission was in fact the wish of the show's creator(s). I would somewhat understand if this scene was pulled for re-runs or syndication, but on a release for purchase? If there was a concern about content, they could have put a disclaimer or warning, although I don't know why? The show is known for and is successful because of pushing the envelope of good taste and propriety. WTF??? I feel like my Office DVD collection is a smile with a prominent missing tooth gap.
