Sex and the City 2 --> October 26, 2010
DVD Active is reporting that the film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 26, 2010.
Special Features on the DVD include:
- "Revisiting the 80s" featurette
- "Soundtrack: behind the scenes with Alicia Keys" featurette
Bluray also includes:
- Commentary with the director
- Conversation with the director and Sarah Jessica Parker
- Additional featurettes ("Styling," "Marry me Liza!," and "The Men of..."
- Digital Copy
I know a lot of you on this forum will avoid this film at all costs, but I enjoyed it as I did the series and will be picking it up on release day.

Will the commentary have King apologizing for the complete middle finger he gave to the fans of the show with this irritatingly fluffy and borderline racist dreck?
* for the record, I loved the show and have a fond opinion of the first film

I love the show and I really enjoyed the first movie, but this one was completely unnecessary. The first movie was a great bookend to the series, but this one just felt tacked on for the sake continuing the franchise. It had its moments, to be sure, but it was really a bit too much. I think if they just removed everything that happened in the Middle East and kept it to strictly the parts that took place in New York I would have enjoyed it much more. Still, I'll pick it up.

Just admit it you are getting it for yourself! "The wife" indeed!
I have the complete series and the first movie but I heard so many terrible things about the second movie I think I will pass on it for now, unless it goes down in price big time and I read good reviews from other fans of the show.
