I don't have anywhere near the collection that you do Mister Peepers, but I do use your stack/store shit all over the place methods. Just last night I spent the better part of an hour trying to find a particular DVD and was starting to resign myself that it was gone when I remembered that I had another batch I had stashed away in the pantry a while ago.

Probably about 65-70%

The missing 30-35% is due to having a job that helps fund the movies I love, but rarely gives me any real time to actually enjoy/watch what I buy.

I'm somewhere around half I imagine, but I've been so disorganized and have bought so much since DVDSpot went down that I can only guess at the numbers, and may be off by hundreds on any numbers I throw out there.

But I think I own around 500 TV seasons, maybe 70% unwatched. Maybe 1000 movies on DVD-R from cable, maybe half watched. Perhaps 3000 films on DVD, I think more than half watched. And roughly 500 "miscellaneous" DVDs; sports, music, documentaries, etc. If I stopped buying today I think I'd have it all watched in about ten years.

Hell with the anime shit. I'd recommend you start Dexter immediately. Probably my favorite show on TV at the moment.

I have around 4700 dvds and 500 Blu-rays. I've seen about 36%. Still have about 46 VHS tapes that's not out on dvd yet. All but a few are in 50 binders. I can subtract a few bonus discs since I've been replacing 2-discs dvds with blu-rays that has all the special features on the BDs.

I checked through the VHS and found 16 are now on dvd. Time to replace those.

Probably 85%. Most of the unwatched stuff would be Wrestling DVDs that I have already seen and just bought them to round out the collection.

I am at about 750 DVDs/Blu Rays right now and have them all neatly organized on two shelves. I have no idea how some of you guys function with DVDs all over the house lol

Somewhere over 90% is watched. I've no clue how many DVDs I currently own, so I can't figure the exact percent. A few years ago I made a point to watch everything I hadn't watched yet and was down to fewer than 5 DVDs unwatched. Right now I've got around 65 on my list to watch.

Out of 1147 titles I own (including TV shows) 382 titles I have never seen. So that is %67 watched. But that is not really accurate since there are movies i saw in theater or rental then bought the DVD but never got around watching my copy.

When I joined DVDtalk a year ago my collection was only 700 titles... :rolleyes:

For reference, I have about 600 discs.

I have watched 100% of my movies. Most of the commentary tracks, too.
As for my TV shows on DVD... while I saw most when they originally aired, there are about 10 discs worth of content that I have yet to see.

Just from the shelves visible in these pictures (a fraction of my collection), there are 96 tapes/DVDs still unseen.

345 unwatched out of 1602 total = 21% unwatched. A couple of those are boxsets that I've watched part of, so it's probably 20%. Also the 1602 total includes things I plan to get rid of but haven't yet. I can't figure out if that's bad or good.

Probably somewhere in the 25% range of my 3000+ movies.

My wife and son left a couple of days ago on a vacation. If I watch a couple of movies each night while they're gone, I may get caught up ... as long as they do not return until sometime in late 2013 ;)

I have 600 unwatched dvds/blu-rays in my collection of 1833. This includes 96 Blu-Rays and 504 DVDs of both Movie & TV Variety.

Out of my movies? I'd say a good 90-95% I've seen at one point, but since buying them, probably closer to 65%.

TV Shows, I've seen pretty much everything I own at one point, but re-watched maybe 40%. I've watched the complete series of Oz a few times, all of my Entourage/True Blood sets, bu hardly touched my X-Men, Simpsons, TMNT, and DB/DBZ/DBGT sets. I have a few random seasons of some shows like Taxi, SNL, The Office, Masters of Horror, but not complete sets.

Interesting use of house space. I have most of mine in crates stacked high in closets and old bathrooms that are not used. Out of around 7000 DVD Profiler count -- which counts box set discs), I have probably watched about 40% of the movies and about 20% of the discs themselves (because of rentals, cable, etc).

There used to be a thread many years back where there was a running count of who had the most discs. If I remember, even back then, people were approaching 10,000. I wonder how bad it is today?

I wonder how many physical discs I own. Wouldn't surprise me if it was well over 10,000, given that most of my collection seem to be multi-disc sets. One of these months I'll take a few weeks off work and do another database. Does Profiler keep track of numbers of physical discs? Or just titles?
