Out of the Blue (Dennis Hopper) DVD question.
Just a quick question and then this thread can be deleted/locked.
I found this at a used shop earlier today and it is in absolutely flawless condition, not a scratch on it, insert included - just great. One thing that I found odd is that the DVD case is purple. Is that how it was originally or is this a case of where someone changed the case? I'm likely going to sell it after I watch this movie for the first time and want to make sure that I am clear on everything when I do offer it.
Thanks in advance.

im guessing that a previous owner changed out the original case with the purple one. i can recall only one or two titles that originally came in a purple dvd case (not starting with "barney", that is)

Re: Out of the Blue (Dennis Hopper) DVD question.
On my copy (purchased new upon release) the case is purplish, and it sorta matches the font on the front.
Maybe Anchor Bay had problems getting a bluer case in the late 90s when plastic dyes were in their infancy. Remember, this was well before the innovation of blu-ray cases.

Thanks guys, and thanks theWitcher. I had a feeling it was correct, it does match too perfectly, but just waned to mak sure. How odd though, and pretty cool. I think the DVD was released back in 1999 so this is an interesting little tidbit here.
