I might get Family Guy Vol 8 at Target if I go there this week. If not, I'll wait for the price drop that will happen soon.

Well I was going to pick up The Book of Eli, BUT just found out it is a WB title so no special features on the SD as usual so I decided I wont pick it up.
I will not purchase any DVD's by studios that continue to screw over SD owners ever again...I'll just do without until/if they ever come around!

Since you are willing to pay new release prices, why not just go blu? $50 player and new releases are often the same price or even cheaper on blu.

Sorry Trevor I just refuse to do that! I now have a library of over 3000 SD dvd's that look just great on my Panasonic Viera EDTV. I have a perfectly working Sony 5 disc carousel dvd player that serves me just fine. I see no reason to dump it! There are plenty of other studios that offer the same special feature content on both SD and BR and I will support them but not these companies like WB and Paramount that screw us over as I have voiced several times on this forum and taken flak for it!!! I just have absolutely no desire to convert to BR and thats my perogative and I am sticking to it, So I'll just do without-
And no offense but the last few releases I was interested in over the past few months...The BR was definately more costly than the SD release on initial release!
