If it came down to buying just one DVD with Jim Carrey, which would it be?
For me? Dumb and Dumber which, ironically, is the only Jim Carrey DVD I have (at the moment).
Honorable mentions: The Truman Show and Liar, Liar

I love many of Jim Carrey's movies. Some of them are great. But since the question is about purchasing/owning, I'd have to say that a flat-out comedy is probably going to get more viewings over time than one of his more dramatic, artful movies.
With that in mind, I think I have to go with The Cable Guy. I really wish it'd get a special edition -- I'd love a Stiller/Apatow commentary and the deleted scenes -- but I'm not holding my breath.

Liar Liar, with Cable Guy and Truman Show being close runners-up

Not a huge Carrey fan. From the ones I've seen, I'd probably go with Bruce Almighty or The Mask.

"The Mask" is the ONLY Jim Carey movie I own. Can't seem to make it through too many others.

Considering I have only purchased The Mask it was kind of an easy vote I did also enjoy Cable Guy but for the most part I dislike Carrey.

Tough call between Truman & Sunshine. I'd give the edge to Truman for a higher rewatchability factor even though Sunshine is a better film. I'm not a fan of Carrey's comedies.

My favorite Jim Carrey movie is Dumb & Dumber and it's the only one of his movies I do own.

I went with The Majestic. Dumb & Dumber is a classic and it was really a tough call. I actually flipped a coin to see what one to pick. There are a lot of good ones on that list.

I don't like any of his comedy films that much, so Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind here, followed closely by The Truman Show. Still haven't seen a few of the ones on the list though.

I think Eternal Sunshine is the best performance I've ever seen by Jim Carrey, though I don't own it.

For the most part I find Carrey one dimensional, and he gets old fast. I do watch regularly "The Mask", and "Fun with Dick and Jane", because I love Teo Leone.

Had Batman Forever not been a choice, I'd have gone with Me, Myself & Irene. Those are really the only ones I like enough to want to own. Truman Show is interesting, but not something I'm likely to re-watch.
