Seriously what is the point of it?
Oh yea it cost way more to buy blu ray movies over normal movies. But i never seen any reason to it, i watch my smallville videos in perfectly quality in xbmc or my dvd player and the picture is super clear, infact putting my tv channel on channel 4 instead of 3 , on 4 its more clear than ever. So why even bother with blu ray , i seen it in action and its a tad bit sharper, but who cares, that tad bit is a waste of time IMO.

Releasing blu ray movies is like releasing Vista, no point , waste of time. All hype, not real deal.

You must not really understand the visual quality of film and it's growing massive visual improvement in the Home Video realm. So I'm assuming you're still using VHS a lot?

How can you argue with such sane, logical reasoning? Had I only know the secret to getting super clear pictures was so simply tune to channel 3 via RF instead of fancy HDMI cables I could've saved a lot of cash! And that will even give you mono sound from the TV speaker too, thus eliminating that confusing sound coming from all around.

People who complain about Blu-ray probably don't even have an HDTV or a surround sound system to take advantage of the superior sound and picture quality. The difference is day and night.

People who say it's "a tad bit sharper" than DVD need to get their eyes checked.

or maybe they have their settings wrong.... or watched someone's setup that was wrong.

And see, where I am, putting the channel to 3 in my area makes my Atari 2600 games come in better.
