Wal-Mart is not always the bargain they claim to be, so as long as you haven't opened it yet, definitely take it back or let them price match it with an ad from Kmart and they or Best Buy will match it for you, as you have proof of it, or just go to Kmart and you'll find it on the front caps of the DVD section.

Europe is getting Night Of Champions on Blu Ray, and will be the same price as the DVD version on Silvervision.co.uk. I'm a bit pissed off that we get what looks like will be one of the crappiest PPVs of the year in HD, but not MITB.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

I thought or maybe read somewhere there wasn't any demand for BD versions of the WWE PPVs (with the exception of the bigs ones), hence why WWE CXLed the plans for them here, but yet they're still selling them in Europe. Can't understand it.

I read that too...if that's the case, Silver Vision could have released OTL, CP, and MitB, seeing as Silver Vision is a third party distributor, similar to the Tagged Classics...WWE can't stop them from releasing them since they've paid for the WWE license to distribute their media.

It's funny that WWE are releasing a Best of KOTR on Blu-ray yet no footage from 93-02 were in were shot in HD...only the 2008 and 2010 tournaments from RAW...but no Money in the Bank, Summerslam and ppvs thereafter.

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

It's because their compilation style releases far outsell every other PPV aside from probably Wrestlemania. Even if the material isn't actually in native HD, they apparently still sell enough copies to make doing it on that format worthwhile. I wish they would at least do the PPV's on Blu as a wweshop.com exclusive or something, like they did with Judgment Day and Vengeance in 2002.

And yet, they still have not determined when they'll relase the other Survivor Series PPVs from 1997 and onwards. I've always heard the compilation DVDs have sold well, except the Best of Raw 93-94 and hoping they can muster up the contents from the KOTR from 1992 and beforehand to include in this new set.

Name for the new Stone Cold DVD is "Bottom Line" not Story, according to this.

I agree, maybe since this year is the 25th they will likely release the volumes sometime next year, but i really won't get my hopes up. I just got the tagged classics of 97/98 and 99/00 to complete the set. I already have 2000 but was the only way of getting 1999.

As for the Best of RAW 93-94, it's a shame that didn't sell well, which basically canned rest of the volumes. Was looking forward to the rest, but they had to replace it with OMG!.

I don't think there is any master footage from the KOTR tournaments from 85-91...but i think i read WWE has 1991 somewhere in their vault since one of the tournament matches was on the Coliseum video releases back in the day. Other then that the only ones exist are the fancams. So it will likely just be 1993-2002 and 2006, 2008, and 2010

"Stone Cold Steve Austin: Bottom Line on the Most Popular Superstar of WWE" is a terrible name IMO, it's just too much. Stone Cold: The Bottom Line is short, simple and effective.

It could be worse, it could be called "Stone Cold Steve Austin: The Story"

Or "Steve Austin: And that's the Bottom Line"...way too long of a title for this new set that WWE has set out.

I'm trying to find a deal on Royal Rumble Anthology Volume 3 in new condition. Anyone have any leads aside from the usual wwe.com, amazon.com, or ebay?

Outside of a seller/trader those three sites you mentioned are probably your best bets to get Volume 3 for a low price.

WWE.com = $31.33 (use coupon code WWEMRREB5 to save $5)

Walmart.com = $33.86 (plus tax)

DeepDiscount = $35.70

Amazon.com = $35.99

Re: Official Wrestling DVD Discussion Thread - Volume XIII

Fans voted the Rock as the collector's edition cover athlete, and come November 22nd, the special edition will be available to by through the THQ store. It includes...

Foil sleeve cover packaging featuring The Rock

Copy of WWE '12 videogame

The Rock playable in-game character

WWE Blu-Ray/DVD featuring The Rock's must-see WWE Raw appearances from February 14, 2011 and April 4, 2011, including his highly anticipated return to WWE and moment his WrestleMania XXVIII match with John Cena was made official

Exclusive Foil Topps Trading Card featuring The Rock

----

So they're just including the bonus features from the Wrestlemania BD in the bonus disc, that's unfortunate.

Mark,

I know it's a longshot and such, but would you still happen to ahve inserts on the old Edge DVD set: Decade of Decadence I believe it's called? If so, I need to print it out as the one I bought at Kmart here has no inserts, so could/would you let me know if you can make these for me to be able to print out? I'd appreciate it. Take care. Soz, been meaning to reply. I didn't do inserts back then (before my time) however did put something together at work (shh!) the other day and I'll try and post it later for you. Laters.

Also I started (a while ago) inserts for Rise and Fall ECW and Funniest Moments as mine don't have them. If any ones interested I could continue with them. Let me know.
