Thanks for the pics, looks like it answeres what I was going to ask. The releases are full screen

I read that the AB release didnt really have any bonus anyway. Im curious to see what the next seasons have as thats when they started putting a good amount of stuff on them.

You mean promo trailers for the other shows right? There are no Xena trailers?

They were filmed FS and aired FS. That's the OAR. Anything else would be a bastardization. Converting a release that was originally FS to WS is, IMHO, no different than offering a FS version of a WS release... a travesty and as such something to be avoided if possible. If you want an example of how bad this can be take a look at B5. Many of the effects shots are cropped way too tight and have poor framing in a WS presentation, especially when live actors were involved. It would have been much better if it had been released FS as originally produced and aired. You'd have a similar problem with Xena or Hercules. If viewing pillarbox bothers you you can always adjust your set to stretch the image and join the "Joe 6 pack" crowd.

No, there are no cross promos for either Xena or Hercules on either set.

Something that I thought would have been on them.

Agree with BobO'Link regarding the full screen ratio.
That reminds me of what WB did with the first season of Kung Fu. I have never bought that series because of that. I still don't think they ever corrected that and released it in it's OAR.

I was wondering: Does this new 2010 set come with a pamphlet or booklet?

I see the "catches" where you can place one in there, but I wanted to know for sure.

well, looks like they're finally putting out season 2..

I'll wait till they release a couple more seasons before I start buying though. don't want them to pull some stunt where they give up after 1 or 2 seasons.... these low msrp's are great though.

Great. They're using the kinds of cases that they did on the A-Team complete series.

yeah, I love those cases. nice and compact instead of those massive digipacks they used for the AB releases.... either way. I'm happy their actually re-releaseing the series.

only thing is that I wish they would releases the seasons a little bit faster. a year between re-releases is a bit slow for an old series.
