Re: Are you going to buy "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs?

I thought the film was ok. My daughter loved it and has chuckled each time she's seen a preview/clip of the movie anywhere. So I'll probably pick it up eventually, after the price has dropped way down or if I come across a used copy down the road.

Dude this is like your second or third thread about this movie. What's your obsession with it?

Yep. Just as soon as it drops to the 4 for $20.00 at Blockbuster just like every movie I buy. but all in all... it looks like a great film.

I might try and Redbox it first. My daughter showed an interest in it.

Cute movie. I liked it. Like the poster above wrote: When it costs $4-5 at Blockbuster or turns up for $3 at Half Price, then I'll buy...

Definitely be getting the BD/DVD combo once it hits single digits.

about 50%. but also keep in mind that i inspect every disc and even the slightest minor scratch is an automatic no buy. if the disc doesn't look absolutely brand new i wont buy it. i feel that paying full price for any dvd is ridiculous. why pay $15.00 to $20.00 for a dvd when i get it for $5.00 or less in a month or two? that last time i payed full price was in 2001 back when i started collecting. now i only buy used or on sale.

The kids enjoyed it and I like the BD/DVD combo packs (wish they'd do more of these) so it has a sale with me.

Is there a problem with that? Even the DVDs you buy brand new are considered "used" after the first time you opened them. As a matter of fact, I've seen a lot of "used" copies in the 4/$20 section at Blockbuster that look like all they did was remove it from the original snapcase and put it into a Blockbuster rental case.

Back on topic, I'll probably pick up this movie when it hits $5 or less as well.

Your collection only contains brand new, never played discs?

How is one poll for two different questions, with neither groups of answers grouped together, supposed to work?

I'm going to buy the Wal-Mart version at Blu-ray but I don't see that option.
