Good documentory on the Vietnam War for kids?
Anything onn Netflix I can show my 6th graders? I want a general overview of the war.....most are way too complex (tactics, etc) for 12 year olds...
Heck I'd even take a decent movie about the war thats appropriate

Vietnam: A Television History is excellent but has 13 episodes - probably too long for you. The 2008 The Vietnam War documentary on the History Channel is 7 episodes and then there's Vietnam The 10,000 Day War, I can't think of any less-than-R Rated movies that are any good except for inappropriate political ones - like The Green Berets, which is a joke.

Hearts & Minds from 1974 is a terrific documentary, although it's quite graphic & not necessarily appropriate for the age group in mind.
