DVD Disc, trouble playing--format issues?
Thanks for taking the time to view my thread....
I recently bought this DVD disc from Amazon.com, brand new, and began playing it today on my Dell XPS 420. It is footage from a George Benson concert that was filmed in Switzerland, but the actual DVD itself came from the United States (where I am from/bought my computer)... It is very uncooperative on Windows Media Player (video plays shortly and then freezes on the menus), so I used VLC Media Player and it seems to work fine. The problem is is that I want to use my DVD ripping software, and it has a heck of a time trying to read the DVD (it will lock up the software). Most of the time, WMP and my DVD ripper perform normal as usual with any other DVD.
Is there anyway to solve this?
It says it is PS2 and XBOX compatible, so I'm uncertain as to what the problem is with this DVD...
Thanks for any advice!
