If Emily and Jonah each get their own Crow and Servo, does that mean that Joel gets Trace and J.Elvis or Kevin Murphy?

in the most recent Mads live show, Trace and Kevin said they weren’t coming back. Maybe J Elvis and Bill would reprise their roles like they did for the MIGIZI shorts with Joel.

Yeah, it was addressed by Joel on the latest notes at the Kickstarter.

Re: Official MST3K / Rifftrax / Cinematic Titanic DVD Thread

The livestream was fun. They watched Hobgoblins, which Joel had never seen before.

It's still up on Youtube, at least for now:

Edit: At the end they mentioned they're doing two more this week, on Thursday and Friday.

It was a little hard to hear everything they were saying but I thought Joel said they are doing another one Friday with Mary JoPehl.

Re: Official MST3K / Rifftrax / Cinematic Titanic DVD Thread

6 more MST3K livestream events coming up.

First, 5 more "watch parties."

But then also on May 3, they're going to have the two casts (Emily's vs Jonah's) play Jackbox games against each other.

I finally dropped a few coins on this, not a whole lot but I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't contribute something. Looks like it's stuck at the 6 episode tier unless some wealthy benefactor does a last minute money bomb.

I wouldn't be so sure, based on what I've seen over the course of the campaign, I'd say they'll probably get to 4.4 mil on or before Wednesday. That means at least nine episodes. And just like an Ebay auction, a lot of people hold off until near the end. So, we'll see. It ain't over till it's over. Don't forget that whatever level you pledged at you'll get another opportunity to add add-ons, too (3-D glasses for the 3-D episode at least).

All people who paid $75 and up get the 3D glasses.

I dont think they’ve said but it likely will be comparable to what is used at the movies.

The film/films are going to be using Anaglyph 3D, which typically uses red/blue filters. You can buy extra glasses (as add-ons) for $7 a pop. This isn't nailed down, but they might be able to swing 3-d glasses designed for people who wear glasses and 3-d glasses designed for people who don't. They'll probably be some kind of cardboard or heavy stock paper, but plastic isn't out of the question, I imagine. There are multiple ripe Anaglyph 3D film choices for riffing running from the 50's thru the 80's.

The glasses will probably be available from the Gizmoplex somewhere down the line, too.

Re: Official MST3K / Rifftrax / Cinematic Titanic DVD Thread

I couldn’t find it on the kicker. People who don’t pay on the kicker, how will they get access to new shows?
Will the Gizmoplex app be a pay for view setup?

How is all this going to work?

So the simple answer, you have to pay the subscription or per ep if you want to see the new episodes or buy a Kickstarter.

Nitpick: you don't "buy a Kickstarter." You pledge on Kickstarter, which gets you certain rewards.

Also, they've broke $4.4 million now, so will make at least 9 episodes, including one with Joel as host.

Yeh I know, but if I’m giving someone money for something, I’m buying it.

Re: Official MST3K / Rifftrax / Cinematic Titanic DVD Thread

At the moment they need around 900,000.00 to reach 5.5 million. They've still got 2 days and change to reach the goal. Joel has added all kinds of extra bonuses and Rifftrax has added a few too. If you've pledged at the 85 dollar level, you're getting a digital bonanza. No reason to think they won't trip the 5.5 million mark, and we get our 12 new episodes, sometime during the Final Countdown Telethon Friday evening.

Can you increase your pledge if you already did it?

That’s what I’m looking at. The Experiment $85 level. That’s about as high as I’m willing to go n

It looks like we might cross the finish line for Bonus Challenge #10 (the "secret" Bonus Reward), before the night's festivities begin. If not before certainly during it. The reward is for all backers...I'm thinking a bonus episode maybe? A Christmas episode for Emily? We'll find out soon enough.
