Had a question about The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes and the deleted sequences.

The deleted sequences is a mixture of script pages, some lost footage, still photos and original audio recordings.

I'm a bix confused if they are using all the original footage at their disposal. In some cases, it seems that the original footage prematurely cuts away to a still photo or script page. Sometimes in what appears to be mid-shot.

Does anyone know more about the lost footage.
