Wow, when I first saw the thread title my thought went to the good special editions of yesteryear like Tombstone and True Romance. And studios wonder why sales may be slipping? They don't put any effort in anymore!
Digitial copies are the worst thing to hit DVD since non-anamorphic titles...

Honestly, were people clamoring for a digital copy of The 13th Warrior? I want the "Eaters of the Dead" cut on DVD!

I wasn't clammering for a digital copy of anything, I hate them and don't ever use them when they come with the movies I buy, but is that a Special Edition of The 13th Warrior? I've been waiting for a newer, better DVD of this movie, minus the Digital Copy that is.

"Stick It" perfectly sums up my feelings about digital copies.

Where are the two disc editions? I only see single disc editions listed with useless, worthless digital copies. Am I missing something here?

I personally find them pointless since:
1) I don't watch movies on my iPod; it seems rather silly when I could watch them on the 57" widescreen in my house.
2) Even if I wanted to watch movies on my iPod, I have HandBrake on my computer, thus letting me make my own digital copy.
