Any idea if this movie was ever released on DVD? As a kid I must have watched it 50+ times during that summer on HBO.

I'm pretty certain the answer is no. Someone else may have more information or will point you to specific threads that have made mention of this title. I'm like you, I've watched this countless times. Picked it up on VHS many years ago and still enjoy it on occasion.

Wow, I'd forgotten all about this movie. I must've seen it a crapload of times back in the 80s.

Never released on DVD. Hasn't been released on VHS since the early 80's. Used copies go for $60. Hasn't been on TV in decades.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks of these two titles in tandem!

They each star one of the stars of REVENGE OF THE NERDS and are about the same game. Easy to confuse them. Although TAG is a MUCH better film.

Glad I check back in after three years to see it's on google video now. Looking at the opening credits reminds me of another great 80s movie Midnight Madness.
