Re: Why do some DVD's never seem to drop in price?
If you're willing to join a club, the Disney Movie club has most of Hayao Miyazaki's movies about 5 bucks cheaper as their normal price. (Their normal titles and Pixars are priced lower, too) Plus, they usually run sales where you buy one normal price, the rest are 25 to 60% lower depending on your status and the month. Not hyping the club, but it has saved me some money with Miyazaki's movies...down to missing just one now!

Re: Why do some DVD's never seem to drop in price?
Here's a thought: The only people who are going to buy the later Hellraiser sequels are completists -- the kind of people who will end up buying these movies no matter how awful they might be. So the studios might as well keep the price point high as long as they can under the assumption that the collectors will eventually pick them up regardless of the price in order to complete their collection.

FIDO - This one is $3.99 in the clearance bin at my Blockbuster. Previously viewed, but there's tons of them. You could easily find one that's perfect. |

It's weird to see people wanting to buy the Pixar titles. You mean there are people that didn't just buy each one when it was new? :)
