i dont think thats the diff between standard dvd and blu ray.. thats the difference between full screen and widescreen

jackman and caine were standing on the edge of the screen through most of the movie.. but they were lost when it was cut down for full screen..

when you watch it in widescreen.. you can see them trying their hardest to avoid the camera and escape this movie.
