Haven't decided. I just got season 1 and watched the first three episodes. While it still retains some of what I remembered in my youth it is a little odd because it is a different Billy Joe and Bobby Joe then what I was used to. Until I looked it up I didn't realize there were two different women playing these roles the first two seasons (b/w) then the later (color) seasons. From what I read only the color season were syndicated, which are obvious the episodes I remember.

Season 2, from what little I've seen of it (I spent a pretty penny years back buying up all the 16mm fan copies of them and never could get all of S2), is really a major improvement over season 1. It's where Jay Sommers comes aboard and gets revved up for Green Acres. Really in a lot of ways, the absurd moments GA would be best known for get tested out here. "A Borderline Story" ends with the Cannonball being used to drag the Shady Rest over the county line by rope!
