Well, the piece also says The Reader doesn't have a set release date, yet it comes out on April 14.

Hey gang, DVDActive has posted the artwork for the Criterion edition. I'd link it, but I don't have enough posts. I don't know, I wasn't a big fan of the flick at all and I definitely don't think it deserves the Criterion treatment, but what the shit do I know.

This is the nicest DVD surprise Ive heard in a long time!
I still have trouble believing it though.. How could my favorite movie of last year actually get a good release? Is this bizarro world?

Fincher's releases are usually pretty loaded. The cover art is a little weak though.

Is the first time this has happened simultaneously, although there have been other similar cases like Dazed and Confused, Brazil, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Rock, Armageddon, Young Mr. Lincoln, and the upcoming Zabrieske Point.
