This was the first film as a kid that made me wake up and start watching 'old movies'. It was entertaining, riveting and finally, heartbreaking. Because of this movie I no longer shunned black and white movies, or movies made before 1977 (yes, Star Wars). This may have to be a Blu-ray purchase on release day. Wonder what the transfer will look like in HD...

Well I would have picked up the DVD but I see there are exclusive Blu-ray features. SO looks like I am sadly and most definitely going to have to pass. I wont condone the practice of supporting an underperforming media. The studios can pull this shit however much they like but trying to trick us isn't going to work.
