Richard Linklater's production company has confirmed that subUrbia is currently being worked on for a Criterion release.

Did they nixed the idea of Beyond Sunrise/Beyond Sunset or they gave you a vague answer?

linklater confirmed this a year or 2 ago in an interview.

i am soooo happy about this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been waiting to replace my vhs of this little masterpiece for years and years...and now I get to have a Criterion of it!! I've hoped as much since Slackers and D&C were put out...but this is the first i've heard.

Now i'll hope it will also be a blu!
