Is "X-Men" trilogy being re-released on standard DVD as well as BD?

The Digital Bits mentioned a Blu-Ray release of the trilogy and that part 3 will now be a 2 disc set but since they only ever talk about BR, they made no mention of standard DVD.

Anyone know if the films are getting re-released on standard DVD as well? I only care about part 3 now since the previous release was just a single disc.

The trilogy is being re-release on BD because parts 1 and 2 didn't have BD releases yet.

Why need a ? for the thread title? It IS being re-released and the thread isn't even *about* the BR discs but whether or not it's coming to standard DVD. Not sure what you're going on about.....

Because you are asking a question, not stating anything about a DVD release. When people come to the thread, they are now expecting to now specs and date for a DVD release, when in fact you are asking a question.

No matter what X3 was a horrid jumbled film that only teased you into thinking something good was going and later forget it's promise to you only to do something else.

Is it so hard for you to understand the posting etiquette rules of the forum or do you have to act so childish for a little thing like this? I politely asked you to use a ? next time you started a thread asking for info instead of giving it. That has been part of the posting etiquette since the forum started, so why is it so hard for you to understand?

I totally agree with you that the poster should have placed a question mark in his title, but seriously, placing a giant ? in your post was not being polite to a fellow poster. Maybe you were trying to be funny or trying too hard to make a point but I can see why the poster took offense.

Nah, I wasn't offended, just amused that some people demand you do what they want so naturally I poked fun at it in my follow-up.

I poked fun because you're getting your panties in a twist over this.

Look, I do not (and did not) feel a ? was needed. Only those who are easily confused or incredibly dense would have been fooled or upset over the lack of a question mark in a subject title. Clearly you are either looking for an argument or are running for chief of police at DVDTalk. You can take your alpha dog stance elsewhere as I'm done with it and do not wish to see the thread derailed due to your policing.

ANYWAY, I hope some info is forthcoming regarding a standard DVD re-release for X3's 2 disc set.

While I *referenced* a news blurb about a BR announcement, the entire *point* of the thread was whether or not a *standard DVD* was forthcoming.

And yet another one for the "ignore" function. You know, they'd have me buying one of their lame-ass Premium memberships if "ignore" was only allowed to those members, lol.
