I had the same problem, I went to 2 different FYE and Suncoasts and they all told me that they weren't having no Royal Rumble in the exclusive tin or steelbook. Either they were all wrong or WWE changed it's mind about the tin edition dvd.

would of liked to see a few of those wwe matches taken off for the following

-macho vs sting spring stampede 98 when he won the title
-a few segmants when he returned in 99 with gorgeous george as his valet
-rodman vs macho man in 99
-maybe highlights when he won WW3

and not just one but all 3 of his matches from ppv in 99 with ddp, that was probably the best fued he had in wcw

He just said we didn't get any in, just the regular edition. He told me to try again tomorrow or later in the week. He didn't sound like he was definitely sure that they would arrive tomorrow or later in the week, just told me to give it a try, which I will.

Really? And now this..... There was an auction for it earlier (the only one) with the seller using the scan from the wwe mag. As of right now the Auction was pulled because...."The seller ended this listing early because of an error in the listing", which is leading me to believe he couldn't get his hands on it either.

One of the guys told me yesterday at FYE, that if they were to receive any, it'll be on Thursday. If they don't get it then, more likely they won't have it. Oh well, K-mart has it (regular version) for $14.99 packaged with 2008 Royal Rumble.

I noticed that auction as well, it was like $55 and surprised about 4-5 people bought it. But it does seem like WWE has discontinued the tins for FYE this year, but atleast its not as bad as Blockbuster when they just stopped providing the bonus discs near the end of the year (Cyber Sunday, Survivor Series and Armageddon were left out)

Another thing, anyone know whats happening with the XPW Cold Day in Hell on Blu-ray? i ordered on Amazon.ca in Dec. and was scheduled to be released Jan 13, since then nobody has received any stock. I checked CDUniverse and the new release date was Feb 10 but again no stock anywhere. I just canceled my order believing it won't arrive any time soon.

Like it was said before, I rather it be now then 6months from now.

As for xpw, Looks like big vision is having some trouble. Even the necro butcher DVD was held back.

I am. More so the steelbook, then the blu-ray since I won't be able to watch it and I feel they may release it down the line here in the states. On a side note, Is the Rumble blu-ray being released in a steelbook?

The Steel Book is being released on DVD only. Is there any reason why there is no Royal Rumble 09 Blu Ray in the States?.

It's just another example of how lucky the UK market is in comparison to the US market. Silvervision have been distributing WWF/E videos/DVDs and Blu Rays since 1989 which answers for a lot in my opinion.

Amidst the confusion regarding the royal rumble 2009 DVD FYE exclusive(yes it's not yet on my hands either guys) a lot of people tend to forgot this dvd.
