Lionsgate Home Entertainment have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Transporter 3 on 10th March 2009. Jason Statham gets paid to transport something in this action movie.
Available on single-disc ($29.95 SRP) and two-disc Special Edition ($34.98 SRP) DVD or on Blu-ray Disc ($39.99 SRP), features are outlined below...
Single-Disc DVD - Includes widescreen and full screen versions of the film along with the theatrical trailer.
2-Disc Special Edition DVD - Includes the widescreen version of the film, a standard definition digital copy of the film and bonus features including multiple in-depth featurettes examining many elements of the film, audio commentary with the director and a featurette focusing on real-life transporters.
Blu-ray Disc - Includes a standard definition digital copy of the film, all the extras from the 2-Disc Special Edition DVD release plus an extended "making of" featurette and a video commentary with picture in picture option. The Blu-ray Disc also features MOLOG™, the first BD Live application that allows users to insert and animate shapes, text, audio and other graphics right into the film as well as post "blogs" about the film to share with other registered MOLOG™ users.
