Re: Exploitation film discussion
So it's a repackage of the 4 seperate releases? I never got the seperate release and it sounds like this will probally be around $20 so i'll get it.
I usually buy the films that SHOULD have been in the Welcome to the Grindhouse/Explotation Cinema line and make my own custom Grindhouse DVDs with them that include the "Grindhouse Experience" |
Re: Exploitation film discussion
It's not exactly a repackaging if that list is correct. A number of different titles are present and of course others are missing. I don't recall Blue Money, Carnival of Crime or Click: The Calendar Girl Killer being part of the original sets. Missing is Brain Twisters, Chain Gang Women, The Van, Death Machines, Don't Answer the Phone, The Specialist, Wild Riders, The Young Graduates. Basically the entire volume 4 stuff has been replaced with other stuff, so it's a repackage and recombination with some other release.
Edit: Figured it out. It's a repackaging of the first 3 Drive In releases plus After Dark Thrillers. So, still no luck on that elusive 4th Drive In volume for those who missed out. |

I'd love to do that, too. |
Re: Exploitation film discussion
You simply take the 2 movies you wanna double up and add the trailers/intermission stuff and then burn them to a new DVD and you got your own grindhouse double feature

Re: Exploitation film discussion
I've been reading the thread from page 1-7, and wish I had started taking notes when I began--i'm never going to remember all these. LOL.

Re: Exploitation film discussion
I just got back from seeing American Grindhouse. Really terrific documentary. I'm kind of a novice when it comes to exploitation flicks, so I found a lot of the history to be very interesting.
Also, Kim Morgan is way too sexy to be a film historian. |
